With Fangs:

Dark Whispers

"I heard laughter, and a rubber ball rolled across the path. A child of four or five came running to retrieve it, his blond little towhead gleaming in the sunshine.

I tried hard not to look at the chubby little legs as he ran sturdily on them. I didn't want Julian to notice me watching him.

And I didn't want to notice if Julian watched him. Because, to a vampire, would he just be food?"

What if there were more to the world than what we see? What if such things as vampires, and werewolves, even witches exist? Would the same prejudices that exist within our own humanity extend to those outside of it? What if those Supernaturals were at war with each other, threatening our human existence?

Welcome to the world of Anjelia "Leah" Romere.

Unbeknown to Leah, she's the key in the war that's brewing between the vampires and the werewolves. After being sold to the werewolves by her abusive ex-husband, her memory is stripped by the vampires. Powerless and frantically searching for their queen, the werewolf leader, Leo, has no idea that she is being wooed by Julian, the master vampire of the city.

But it's a small world, after all. They do find her, and shatter her trust with her lover, Julian, by mentioning a tiny little secret to her. She's been mesmerized, and does she truly love the vampires of her own free will? Or should she heed her destiny and belong with the werewolves? It's an important decision for Leah, because either way she chooses will start the supernatural war, one that will wipe out hundreds of innocent humans in the crossfire.

Whispered Shadows

"Let's give him a chance. Threaten him with the horrors of a vampire kiss. Something, anything that doesn't stamp out a human life."

"I did not know my kisses were so horrible, my sweet," Julian said, with a wry look.

"Out of the mouths of babes..." Leo murmured, looking unrepentant at Julian's glare.

Anjelia thought she found happiness at the end of Dark Whispers. She has a cool body for hot summer nights, and a warm body for the dead of winter. She doesn't count on the problems that lurk with jealous and hidden, unwanted magic.
